I trained as a Barrister at Gray's Inn in 2002. Before securing pupillage and on the power of a prayer, I stumbled across law tuition and essay writing. With some hard work and within a few years I'd achieved more than I planned in the next 30 years.

Universities teach so very little and should teach so much more.

Real teaching and real learning happens by experience and is multifaceted. We don't have an education system as much as an education factory.

The piece of paper now matters more than what's taught. It's a way in to employment, a pre-qualifier.

The Universities take a very limited, specific part of intelligence and brand you, the student as fit for purpose or not. For life, based on your skills as an essay writer.
